The brief landed with one sentence: “Turn a cocoon into a box, into a shoe, give it wings, let it fly away.”

My long-time collaborator Aryan Ahuja introduced me to Blender Geometry Nodes, and the morph chain clicked. We sculpted a silk cocoon that unwraps into a shoebox, which then folds into a 9060 sneaker; feathered wing panels sprout and carry the shoe above downtown Los Angeles.

Redshift handled texture continuity across forms, and loop-ready cuts were delivered in vertical and square formats for Bricks & Wood socials and New Balance product pages.
